What is the challenge
Health care organisations and aged care facilities in China are facing more challenges today than ever before. Partly as a result of decades of the one child policy, individual wealth and education has improved dramatically whilst the population as a whole has aged. This has placed an increasingly unmanageable burden on middle aged Chinese when it comes to looking after their elderly parents. These educated, middle class Chinese are eagerly seeking high quality professional care for their beloved parents.
Relentless innovation in global and local health IT, and increased market competition had further complicated matters. Consequently, health care and aged care providers in China must adopt and tailor the best-in-class service delivery, operating, management and training models in order to succeed.
At the same time, Australian health care providers continue to operate in a mature market with decades of accumulated experience in high quality care delivery, operations and management.
